Security hotfix based on latest main
Preserves the concurrently merged credential scrub (
2ef1e0c) and makes NO attempt to restore its intentionally emptied API/environment fields. Only removes unsafe/unused public-runtime DigitalOcean config and unnecessary credential declarations; adds security/contributor policies, public README fixes, optional grouped weekly npm Dependabot and regression tests.Critical outside-Git step: Revoke/rotate previously committed provider tokens (DigitalOcean, Cloudinary, Algolia, Netlify and npm/Font Awesome registry where applicable), check logs for misuse, then coordinate Git-history cleanup. Removing current files never removes secrets from old commits/forks.
Legacy branch tips have already been scrubbed:
master.env/.npmrcandold/template.env. Their histories still require attention.No player features or unrelated deployment source changes. CI Node tests and full Nuxt prerender must pass before merging. Update
developafter main merges.
