Closed homepage post panels add every carousel entry to initial HTML, repeating the visible source quote. The homepage now mounts each carousel when first opened and preserves its scroll position when folded. Full trending boards still include every source post in initial HTML.

The local preview used captured public feed responses. I switched the homepage deferral flag off, then on. With identical responses, afdocs's HTML converter measured 61,481 → 47,866 characters, a 22% reduction. The lead source quotes stayed rendered. The afdocs 0.22.2 rendering and HTML size checks both passed. This result covers one page and two checks.

Browser checks passed at 375px, 768px, and 1280px. Opening showed all six supplied posts. Keyboard Space folded and reopened the panel. The carousel retained its 312px scroll position, and the page had no horizontal overflow.

Temporary regressions covered deferred entries, mounted carousel state, and complete default board serialization. The original component failed the deferral case; the repaired component passed all three. Temporary tests and HTTP fixtures were removed before the final build and commit.
