Select and document the Changelog lifecycle .github/workflows/repository-changelog.yml, docs/automation.md, .changelog/native-version-pr-title.md |
The workflow now references Changelog v0.4.1. The documentation states that the caller omits version-pr-title, allowing the lifecycle to use its native title template with validated release-plan values. It also states that title refreshes preserve the managed pull request body and do not authorize merging or publishing. The changelog entry records the title behavior. |

Explanation
The title "fix: use the native generated Changelog version PR title" matches the main change. The PR selects published Changelog 0.4.1 in the repository changelog workflow and leaves the version-pr-title input unset, so the generator's native title template applies. The title is specific, concise, and uses a conventional commit prefix.

Explanation
The description matches the changeset. It explains the switch to Changelog 0.4.1, leaving version-pr-title unset, and the native title template. It also covers validation runs, the documentation paragraph, and the scope limits (no tag or release, no manual PR rename).

Explanation
Issue
#47is the only active direct link. Its coding objective is to use the native, supported version-PR title default of the published Changelog lifecycle, without a caller override or manual PR rename.Evidence at head:
.github/workflows/repository-changelog.ymlchanges the pinned reusable workflow from85474de5…(v0.3.0) to203db95e68fc974e95ba1a921f08d01f88851be1(v0.4.1). The whole-PR diff touches only thisuses:line. The caller does not setversion-pr-title, so the lifecycle default applies.docs/automation.mdnames v0.4.1 and the same commit. It states that the caller omitsversion-pr-titleand that the native template supplies the title from validated plan values..changelog/native-version-pr-title.mdrecords the fixed patch entry.
The PR description reports inspection of v0.3.0 (constant
chore: update changelog) and execution of the published v0.4.1 factory and resolver against a synthetic plan. These results are outside this repository. They are consistent with the change but are not independently verified here. The issue also asks for a live demonstration on the next open managed PR. The PR description states that no managed version PR was open. That step is operational verification, not a coding requirement, so it is not assessed here. No repository test was added for the title. The coding change itself is in place.

Explanation
The whole-PR diff against the merge base contains three files. Each file connects to
#47:.github/workflows/repository-changelog.yml: the one-line pin bump to Changelog v0.4.1. This is the implementation change.docs/automation.md: updates the selected Changelog release, commit, and title-source description. This documents the implementation change..changelog/native-version-pr-title.md: a fixed patch changelog fragment that describes the same change.
No change alters caller permissions, the lockfile, the global Changelog engine, another repository, or release and tag behavior. The workflow diff shows no other edits. The documentation paragraph that the PR description says will be reconciled with
#29is documentation wording. It does not add unrelated scope.

Closes #47.
Changelog 0.3.0 defines the constant
chore: update changelogin its reusable workflow and native API. Select the published 0.4.1 commit and leaveversion-pr-titleunset, so the generator owns the supported default:chore(release): {repository} v{current_version} → v{next_version}. Its title refresh preserves the existing PR body.Validation: 73 tests / 522 assertions, self-check of 27 PHP files, Composer strict validation, actionlint on all workflows and native changelog validation passed. The published factory/resolver was executed against a synthetic plan without HTTP or writes. Independent review approved ba50f97. Caller permissions and lockfile are unchanged; fork data is separate from the trusted pinned runtime.
No managed version PR was open during readback. This PR does not create a tag/release or manually rename a version PR. The documentation paragraph will be reconciled with the independent RST migration in #29 before integration.
