Current limitation

PR #291 adds a Now marker in an EPG gap, but it refreshes only every 15 seconds. It has no moving time/progress indicator like a broadcast timetable. At VOV Giao thông TP.HCM 16:29 users still cannot see the time bar progressing until the next slot at 16:30.

Solution

  • Make a live 1-second clock (HH:mm:ss, Vietnam UTC+7) in the reference Schedule panel, with a rose-coloured progress fill and moving dot, showing proportional elapsed time between actual time boundaries.
  • In a known gap (e.g. 16:15–16:30), fill according to actual elapsed time and show 16:29:00 → 16:29:01 etc. The existing 'Programme information unavailable; next at 16:30' disclaimer remains.
  • Once 16:30 arrives, remove the gap marker and move the live bar/clock into Giờ cao điểm chiều, starting at 0% of the listed 16:30–19:00 slot. Advance throughout the scheduled programme, independent of audio stream playback/buffering.
  • Explicitly do not call this a media playback progress bar or fabricate real-time EPG: these are broadcaster reference slots.
  • Only tick when a reference schedule panel is visible, keep provider EPG unchanged, and preserve manual scrolling. No packages or runtime fetches.

Tests

Node tests for proportional progress, invalid bounds, 16:29–16:30 rollover and UI binding; opt-in Playwright test for seconds advance and moving line. Run standard PR CI unit tests + full prerender/SEO/Pages checks. Target develop, then production release separately after CI.
