No case sets
ace.partial_graph_knn_build_algo = knn_graph_build_algo::BRUTE_FORCE. No test builds throughbrute_force_paramsor calls the newbuild_knn_graphbrute-force overloads. The PR adds the exact builder, and the exact builder changes the host partial-graph path in ACE, but tests do not cover either. Add apartial_graph_knn_build_algofield toAnnCagraAceInputs. Include it inace_case_nameand add a few small-partition BRUTE_FORCE cases. Also add a direct test that checks self-exclusion and exact neighbors frombuild_knn_graph(..., brute_force_params).The current matrix already runs 40 ACE builds per dtype, with up to 320,000 rows each. To limit CI time, add the BRUTE_FORCE cases as a targeted set instead of a full cross product.

Expose the new ACE options through the C and Python bindings.
cuvsAceParams and AceParams still expose only the legacy fields. The C-to-C++ conversion also copies only those fields. C and Python callers cannot select nsubpartitions, add_global_reverse_edges, or partial_graph_knn_build_algo; they always use the C++ defaults. Add the fields to both bindings and copy them into cuvs::neighbors::cagra::graph_build_params::ace_params.

Include the headers that this file uses directly.
The header uses ::pread/::pwrite (<unistd.h>), O_RDONLY/O_CREAT/O_EXCL/O_WRONLY (<fcntl.h>), errno (<cerrno>), std::strerror (<cstring>), std::numeric_limits (<limits>), and ::qsort/::mkdtemp (<cstdlib>, already present). The header compiles now only because other headers leak these declarations. The cleanup in this PR removed <limits> and other headers from cagra_build.cuh, so this dependency on leakage is already fragile.

Clamp the partial-graph degrees for small partitions; do not fail the build.
ace_build_partial_knn_graph throws when partition_size <= intermediate_graph_degree. The old sub-index path called cagra::build, and that path runs check_graph_degree and reduces the degrees. The new path runs when add_global_reverse_edges is set or the algorithm is BRUTE_FORCE. On this path, one imbalanced partition with too few vectors now aborts the whole ACE build. ace_check_partition_sizes only warns about such partitions. Clamp the degree for each partition. Keep the output degree at graph_degree so that later code still gets rows of the full width. For example, pad the pruned rows, or require graph_degree < partition_size and clamp only the intermediate degree.

🩺 Stability & Availability | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick win
The host memory estimate leaves out the in-memory global reverse-edge buffers.
ace_add_global_reverse_edges allocates source_graph, a full copy of the final graph (dataset_size * graph_degree * sizeof(IdxT)). It also builds std::unordered_set candidate sets that can hold about dataset_size entries in total, with hashing overhead. ace_check_use_disk_mode uses mem.total_size to choose in-memory mode, and that total counts neither buffer. A build sized close to the memory limit can therefore choose in-memory mode and then run out of host memory in the final merge. Add cagra_graph_size and the candidate storage to the estimate when add_global_reverse_edges is enabled. A per-partition std::vector<IdxT> with sort and unique also costs less memory than hash sets. It also avoids a serial hash insert for each of the N * graph_degree edges.

Preserve same-partition reverse edges in global mode.
Global mode builds each partial graph with ace_build_pruned_partial_graph, which does not merge local reverse edges. The later global pass collects only sources whose destination is in a different partition. Same-partition reverse edges are therefore not added, which can reduce recall and connectivity.
Apply the same correction to the disk path.
