What changed

  • Bump the Windows beta to v0.1.1 with matching Cargo lockfile, packaging defaults, notices, and release notes.
  • Fix the updater to find prereleases and download private assets through authenticated gh. The known locally built releases remain checksum-verifiable without a provenance attestation.
  • Make the macro store stress test explicitly RAW and require its 500-write worker to finish before the next assertion. This restores the intended test after BOUND became the default.
  • Align README and status guidance with the deferred Linux package and current macro/bug guides.

Verification

  • Windows: .\validate.ps1 -Mode full -Locked passed on PR head, including tests, zero-warning Clippy, feature checks, optimized release build, and CI-safe ignored tests.
  • WSL2: headless pwsh ./validate.ps1 -Locked passed on PR head, including neuron-app build and tests. WSLg GUI launch stalled; native Linux desktop and Razer hardware behavior remain unverified.
  • Windows PowerShell 5.1 updater check found the current private v0.1.0 prerelease through gh. PowerShell parse, Linux bash -n, and git diff --check passed.
  • GitHub Actions did not start build runners because of the account billing block; the local gates above supplied the verification.
  • No device write or input behavior changed in this PR.
