## September 2026 - vDB PostgreSQL Cluster (RDS) — Multi-AZ mode

GreenNode adds the **Multi-AZ** mode to PostgreSQL Cluster (RDS) in the HCM region, letting you spread a cluster's Nodes across two or more availability zones so the cluster keeps serving traffic when one zone fails.

* **Choose the mode up front:** the **Availability & Durability** field in the Basic configuration step, offering Single-AZ or Multi-AZ with a description of each.
* **At least 2 availability zones:** pick zones and Subnets in one table in the Network & Security step, one Subnet per zone.
* Keeps the same 1 Primary (Writer) + N Replicas (Reader) architecture, 2–10 nodes, with automatic failover to a remaining zone.
* Requires a VPC with **DNS** enabled; currently available in the HCM region only.

## August 2026 - vDB PostgreSQL Cluster (RDS) — HAN region

GreenNode extends PostgreSQL Cluster (RDS) to the **HAN-01** region, so you can now deploy High Availability PostgreSQL clusters in Hanoi with availability zones **HAN01-1A** and **HAN01-1B**, alongside the existing HCM region.

## Tháng 9, 2026 - vDB PostgreSQL Cluster (RDS) — chế độ Multi-AZ

GreenNode bổ sung chế độ **Multi-AZ** cho PostgreSQL Cluster (RDS) tại region HCM, cho phép trải các Node của cluster trên từ hai availability zone trở lên để cluster vẫn phục vụ được khi một zone gặp sự cố.

* **Chọn chế độ ngay từ đầu:** trường **Availability & Durability** ở bước Basic configuration, chọn Single-AZ hoặc Multi-AZ kèm mô tả từng chế độ.
* **Tối thiểu 2 availability zone:** chọn zone và Subnet trong cùng một bảng ở bước Network & Security, mỗi zone một Subnet.
* Giữ nguyên kiến trúc 1 Primary (Writer) + N Replicas (Reader), 2–10 node, automatic failover sang zone còn lại.
* Yêu cầu VPC đã bật **DNS**; hiện chỉ khả dụng tại region HCM.
