Opening /categories/http-clients/?sort=name&order=asc#entry-httpx expands the requested entry, then immediately collapses it while restoring the URL's filters. A matching search also collapses the entry; an unrelated search hides it altogether.

Restore search and sorting before opening the linked entry. This keeps the existing behavior that clears a search when necessary to reveal the target. Add four regression cases covering a plain anchor, sorting, a matching search, and a nonmatching search. Three fail on the unchanged base.

Validation:

  • 171 website tests pass on Windows with Python 3.14.6 and PYTHONUTF8=1. Without UTF-8 mode, ten existing preview-verdict tests fail identically on the unchanged base because of template decoding.
  • Ruff lint and formatting, ty check website, and the complete site build pass.
  • Generated-site browser checks pass for all four URLs at 1440, 900, and 600 pixels. Search/Escape, row expansion, and name sorting also pass. Screenshots inspected at these widths.

This fixes the website and does not add a project listing, so the project-admission template is not applicable.
