SuperJSON supports two sharing modes:
- URL Sharing - Small JSON files are compressed and embedded directly in the URL. No server required.
- Server Storage - Large JSON files (>8KB compressed) are stored server-side with a 30-day expiration.
Share links are created automatically based on file size when you click the share button.
- Next.js 15 (App Router, React 19)
- TypeScript
- Tailwind CSS
- Zustand (State management)
- @tanstack/react-virtual (Virtualized lists)
- Turso (SQLite edge database for share storage)
- LZ-String (URL compression)
For server-side share storage, set these environment variables:
TURSO_DATABASE_URL=libsql://your-database.turso.io
TURSO_AUTH_TOKEN=your-auth-tokenMIT
