Goal

Reduce irrelevant prompt content while preserving edit accuracy.

Scope

Build a deterministic context bundle from:

• a compact document overview;
• the relevant section and nearby blocks;
• explicitly named or cursor-focused blocks;
• referenced diagram/table/chart details;
• recent touched items and required relationships.

Preserve stable prompt prefixes where useful, and expand context when an instruction is genuinely document-wide.

Acceptance criteria

• Narrow edits do not send unrelated full block content.
• Whole-document requests still receive sufficient coverage.
• Missing or ambiguous targets lead to clarification rather than guessed edits.
• Before/after metrics show prompt reduction without lowering edit success or isolation.
• No vector search or router model is introduced.
