When a visitor opens the GitHub Pages site, this remote image request sends the visitor to visitor-badge.laobi.icu so it can count the visit (as the new footer admits), but the hero and privacy band still state “No data leaves your Mac” and “No analytics.” Those unqualified claims now contradict the site’s behavior and can mislead privacy-conscious users; explicitly limit them to the app or remove the counter.

Add the visitor-badge.laobi.icu counter to the README and GitHub Pages site. Keep the site badge aligned with the existing stat-pill styling and clarify that the visitor count is provided by the external badge service.
