Switching experts preserves structured Library references and selected MCPs in the new task, and displays the active expert name. Shared feature events retain plugin ownership and existing authorization checks.
The bundled MCP example now resolves its Node and script from the current runtime so rebuilding or relocating Desktop cannot leave it pointing at a retired installation. Independent MCP commands retain their configured paths. Unready MCPs return a specific diagnostic.
Validation: combined expert/Library/MCP browser acceptance passed (including opening the retained reference), 37 regression tests passed, TypeScript builds passed. macOS candidate packaging and actual packaged expert-switch acceptance are in progress.
