hack/rebase-sidero.sh replays this patch series onto a new upstream tag and
keeps the deletions of the upstream build infrastructure when upstream still
modifies those files. It is the first commit of the series, so it is already
checked out whenever a later commit stops the rebase with a conflict.
Drop kres, conform, lefthook, codecov and renovate configuration, the upstream
GitHub workflows, the helm e2e test harness and the upstream release tooling.
The fork is built by its own workflow, so none of this is used here.
Add the artifacts.skipVersionfilter option. When set, alpha, beta and rc
versions are offered as well instead of only the stable releases and the
pre-releases of the newest minor. A debug log line shows when the filter is
skipped.
Add the artifacts.overrideSourceImageRegistry option. When set, extension and
overlay images are fetched from that registry, under the configured namespace,
instead of the registry recorded in the image reference.
The workflow tests and lints on every push and pull request, and pushes the
image and the helm chart to the registry named by vars.REGISTRY_PROJECT.
The chart version is passed to the unchanged upstream Makefile explicitly,
and the chart is pushed with helm directly, so the Makefile needs no edits.
