Setting a optimistic value a after a short duration in an action instead of immediately makes memos not see it.

Steps to Reproduce the Bug or Issue

1. Open repro
2. Click button
3. see that value update after the short delay but doubled update at the end of the transition

Expected behavior

double update at the same time as value
