This Pull request:

The cppjit tests set LD_LIBRARY_PATH to only the test directory, replacing the one from the environment. When ROOT is built with a compiler whose C++ standard library is found through LD_LIBRARY_PATH, as with the LCG views, every cppjit test fails before running:

/cvmfs/sft.cern.ch/lcg/releases/CMake/3.30.6-34165/x86_64-el9-gcc16-opt/bin/cmake: /lib64/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.32' not found

or

ImportError: /lib64/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.32' not found (required by .../boost_histogram/_core.cpython-313-x86_64-linux-gnu.so)

Changes or fixes:

Prepend the test directory to the LD_LIBRARY_PATH of the environment instead of replacing it, the same way PYTHONPATH is set a few lines above.

Checklist:

  • tested changes locally
  • updated the docs (if necessary)

Tested on AlmaLinux 9 with the dev3 view (gcc 16): before, all 26 cppjit tests fail through ctest; after, all of them pass.
