Compiles the pybind11/scikit-build-core C++20 extension for causal-set matrix operations, linking OpenBLAS, LAPACKE and OpenMP. Upstream publishes no riscv64 wheel.

Mirrors upstream's publish.yml and the test step of ci.yml.

Differs from upstream

  • Drops gcc-toolset-12 and ccache - the image's default GCC already supports C++20
  • No epel-release - openblas-devel and lapack-devel come from the base repos

Testing

  • Upstream's pytest tests/python, run against the installed wheel instead of copying the extension into the checkout

License: Wheel bundles OpenBLAS (BSD-3-Clause), LAPACK (BSD-3-Clause), libgfortran/libgomp (GPL-3.0 with GCC Runtime Library Exception) and compiles in Eigen (MPL-2.0) and pybind11 (BSD-3-Clause) headers; upstream ships no licence text for them, so the build adds it.

The x86 SIMD paths (SSE2/AVX2/AVX-512) are #if-guarded and fall back to scalar code. CI results pending.

lapack marks its LICENSE %doc (/usr/share/doc/lapack/LICENSE) rather
than %license, so the manylinux image's tsflags=nodocs drops it and
collect-licenses.sh failed in before_all with:

  cp: cannot stat '/usr/share/licenses/lapack/LICENSE'

Install the BLAS/LAPACK packages with --setopt=tsflags= and copy the
licence from /usr/share/doc/lapack instead.
