Summary

  • update Next.js from 15.5.20 to 15.5.21
  • refresh the pnpm lockfile entries for Next.js and its platform packages

Why

Next.js 15.5.20 is in the affected version ranges for security advisories fixed in 15.5.21, including:

Exploitability depends on the application's enabled Next.js features and deployment configuration, but upgrading removes the vulnerable runtime version.

Impact

This is a patch-level framework update without application source changes.

Validation

  • pnpm@10.32.1 install --lockfile-only --frozen-lockfile --ignore-scripts
  • pnpm@10.32.1 exec next build with build-only placeholder Appwrite settings
  • production build compiled and generated all 16 static pages
  • installed runtime reports Next.js 15.5.21
  • git diff --check

Note: standalone tsc --noEmit still reports pre-existing errors from the unconfigured tanstack/ prototype tree; the repository's Next config already skips those type errors during production builds.
