Update from Copier (2026-10-11T11-26-33Z)

[python-templates-copier-update]

Apply the Copier update and fix the checks it enables. Run type checks with python -m ty check and remove trailing whitespace from generated Makefile recipes.

Use the working directory when no build path is configured and treat an unset target list as empty. Use Hatchling metadata in the hook registration test. Add a regression test for default build execution.

Verified make lint checks coverage on macOS with Python 3.11: 4 tests passed, including the JavaScript fixture build. The default-directory regression fails with the original code.
