The Steering Committee is part of the publiccode.yml Working Group. Currently comprised of six members, the Steering Committee was established to bring structure, continuity and quality assurance to what had previously been an informal, individual-driven process
@bfabio my apologies for not having searched this deeper. I couldn't imagine that the steering committee have shrunk since the standard was created, now that's being adopted by more countries and the European Commission.
Interesting that it happened a few weeks after the OSOR published the article.

Hi @ifraixedes, this repo's doc is the source of truth.
The OSOR article was published in January, when the Steering Committee still had six members.
In February three of them were removed: #284, #285 and #286, the last two after a long period without participation.
I added the committee back in December 2021 (#108) to enhance participation but it's clearly a failed experiment.
