COD WAW Crashing after trying to load campaign save

What happened?

I tried to load a save on T4 that I was playing earlier and the game just crashes, I see some people are having the same issue in the discord

Expected result

I expect the game not to crash when trying to load a save

Steps to reproduce

1. Play the game until a checkpoint
2. Quit
3. Come back to play and try to resume save
4. Game crashes after cutscene and loading

Me and discord used oct0gen confirmed that loading from mission select loads it successfully, however it has the inconvenience of starting the mission from the beginning, as the game clearly states.

Happens to me as well. Regardless of the mission. As soon as I load a save file, the game crashes.

Found the root issue, turns out its a very long standing bug that dates back to 2021
