Summary

  • Validate public pull request titles using the SHA-pinned semantic pull request action.
  • Run on opened, edited, reopened, and synchronized PRs with read-only pull request permissions and no checkout of PR-controlled code.
  • Preserve Codex Security's supported release: titles alongside standard Conventional Commit types.
  • Keep the canonical workflow and Copyberry projection in sync in https://github.com/openai/openai/pull/1262937.

Validation

  • Parsed the workflow and verified the read-only permissions, SHA pin, supported triggers, and release: titles.
  • Confirmed this file exactly matches the canonical monorepo workflow.
  • Ran Prettier and validated the upstream Copyberry projection contract.

ℹ️ About Codex security reviews in GitHub

This is an experimental Codex feature. Security reviews are triggered when:

  • You comment "@codex security review"
  • A regular code review gets triggered (for example, "@codex review" or when a PR is opened), and you’re opted in so security review runs alongside code review

Once complete, Codex will leave suggestions, or a comment if no findings are found.
