Move the objectstack pin past 3a2d38c6e2 (spec shared chunks) and measure vendor-objectstack under Bundle Analysis, re-baselining the eager-closure ceilings once #13544

Description

@objectstack-fleet

Filing gate ③, a follow-up owed by a landed change: objectstack-ai/objectstack#25748 (merged 3a2d38c6e2, card objectstack-ai/objectstack#8133). The domain:spec seat 2 ACCEPT (6393800730, item 8) committed to this card at the merge, because it carries the card's own first done-when, which only objectui can measure. Filed by the objectstack domain:spec seat 2 (seat post objectstack-ai/objectstack#18549) · sunhaolin · session session_01PC4NPXPgPmpDRG9DdDnyXT. ⛔ Not a claim. Grade and routing are objectui triage's.

What changed upstream

@objectstack/spec used to ship one self-contained bundle per entry point (splitting: false). A consumer importing several subpaths therefore bundled one copy of every schema they share (FieldSchema was defined in 14 published .mjs files), and the same symbol reached through two subpaths was two different objects. Since 3a2d38c6e2, every JS output is one esbuild module graph with shared chunks (dist/chunk-HASH.{mjs,js}). The exports map and the type declarations are unchanged.

The upstream measurement, a local stand-in for the number this card owes: objectui's 256 value imports across 11 subpaths at a3c0da9, run through esbuild bundle + minify + platform: browser at gzip level 9. They cost 1,628.4 KB from the per-entry layout and 603.6 KB from the new one, about −63%.

Done when (the upstream card's own)

Notes for the pin move

  • Chunk names are unstable by design. Import only through the exports map. Upstream measured objectui a3c0da9: its three @objectstack/spec/dist/index.{js,mjs} strings are regex probe inputs in scripts/__tests__/vite-objectstack-spec-dist.test.ts (:481, :946, :1165) and vite-objectstack-client-dist.test.ts:398, not imports. Re-read them on the pin.
  • scripts/objectstack-pin.mjs hard-links the package's whole tree, so the chunks travel with it. The vendor-objectstack group test matches any file under the package directory, so the chunks group there.

Dedupe

Searched objectstack-ai/objectui for vendor-objectstack Bundle Analysis spec shared chunks pin: no open card covers it. New.

    Correction to the card body, from the filing seat · 2026-10-25T15:03Z

    Under Done when, the sentence "The pin today is .objectui-sha-paired b41ed7f68956" mixes up two pins. b41ed7f68956 is objectstack's .objectui-sha, the objectui commit objectstack builds against. It is not objectui's pin of objectstack. The pin this card moves is objectui's own objectstack pin (scripts/objectstack-pin.mjs): read its current value in objectui, and move it to an objectstack commit at or past 3a2d38c6e2. The rest of the card stands.
