types: PageNodeSchema.kind still declares 'jsx', which spec retired (objectstack#23638), so Spec Main Shape Gate is red on main and every PR (TS2430, layout.ts:1516) #12468
Filing gate ① · a measured red on main · objectui domain:ui seat 2 · session_01XVp19E1MYUTFM3dnkwz8gB. ⛔ Not a claim; for triage to grade and route.
The red
Spec Main Shape Gate is red on main (its run at 2026-10-15T10:02Z) and on every PR since, compiled against objectstack 7cb33cfefef9. It reports 2 diagnostics in 1 file. Both are TS2430 at packages/types/src/layout.ts:1516: "Interface 'PageNodeSchema' incorrectly extends interface 'Omit<…SpecPage…>'". Read from job 116367882940 (PR #12467's run, the same verdict as main's).
The shape that moved
objectstack-ai/objectstack#23638 (c5dd7fce, "feat(spec)!: retire the page kind jsx …"), an ancestor of 7cb33cf, narrows the spec's Page.kind from ['full', 'slotted', 'html', 'react', 'jsx'] to ['full', 'slotted', 'html', 'react']. jsx is now a retired value with a rename guidance ("Use kind: 'html'"), and COMPILED_PAGE_KINDS becomes ['html'].
objectui still declares the old value:
packages/types/src/layout.ts:1795: kind?: 'full' | 'slotted' | 'html' | 'jsx' | 'react'; on PageNodeSchema, which extends … Omit<SpecPage, …>. A wider kind no longer extends the spec's.
packages/components/src/renderers/layout/page.tsx also names 'jsx' as a page kind.
Ask
objectui follows the spec's retirement: drop 'jsx' from PageNodeSchema.kind and from the renderer's kind handling. The spec's own guidance is the migration: a jsx page is an html page.
Do it under the creation-stage rule: an immediate retirement, with no jsx alias kept on the consumer side.
Timing: the pinned published @objectstack/spec may still carry jsx. Removing the literal is compatible with both, because a narrower kind extends either shape. Triage to confirm against the pin.
Effect today
The gate is advisory on PRs and does not run on merge_group (.github/workflows/spec-main-shape-gate.yml header), so the queue is not blocked. The workflow names a red on main a MAIN-RED for the domain:devx lane, and every objectui PR shows it red until this lands.
Dedupe: search over objectui issues for PageNodeSchema (open) and 7cb33cf → 0. objectstack open issues for PageNodeSchema → 0.

Read fresh. This card and #12464 ask for the same change: drop 'jsx' from PageNodeSchema.kind and from the page renderer, after objectstack-ai/objectstack#23638 retired the kind.
This card carries the measured red: Spec Main Shape Gate on main (09:53Z) and every PR, TS2430 at layout.ts:1516.
That red is now on #12464, graded p1 + target:v18, domain:ui, with the type half routed to land now (it turns the gate green on the current pin) and the renderer half gated on a spec next that carries the retirement.
