I'm aware of these pending changes. I'm trying to keep my changes to a minimum, but seems like I should just do the entire set of changes in this PR? The last comment says next PR is fine, so maybe I can leave it all for the follow-up?
Any further changes than this would simply make it difficult to review accurately, in my opinion, but I could be wrong 😅

In order to actually preserve git history, it's important to use "Rebase and merge" on this PR!
