Summary

  • Moved per-request/per-click diagnostics (tab label polling, PreToolUse hook, diff tabs, permission prompts, choice menus, etc.) from INFO to FINE; they appear only with debug logging enabled.
  • PreToolUse hook no longer logs the full request body (it contained edited code); only size and file path are logged at FINE.
  • Removed the debug-only project comparison loop in resolveTabLabel, which ran every 15 s per open tab.
  • Lifecycle events (plugin/MCP server start/stop, SSE client connect, Claude launch) and all warnings stay at INFO/WARNING.

Test plan

  • mvn package — 1072 tests, 0 failures
  • Debug off: edit + diff accept + choice menu produce no hook/diff/ChoiceMenuPanel lines in messages.log
  • Debug on: those messages appear, without file contents

…th debug logging enabled

Moved tab label polling, PreToolUse hook, diff tab, permission prompt,
choice menu and similar per-request/per-click messages from INFO to FINE.
The PreToolUse hook no longer logs the full request body (which contained
edited file contents); only its size and the file path are logged.
Removed the debug-only project comparison loop from resolveTabLabel, which
ran every 15 seconds per open tab.
