Can work around it by going into split app mode and then re full sizing the app, but pretty easy to hit for me.

Appear to be on latest version of the play store app.

Tilting your phone (so going from portrait to landscape, and then back again) also rectifies this issue. It looks like a graphical overlay issue of sorts that isn't being recalled when the keyboard is removed.
