Cold large-collection preview startup now overlaps work that used to run serially, and the collection indexes are shared between the main thread and the compile worker instead of being built twice.
Measured with the perf harness (fixture-corrected, cold cache, Chromium):

PathIndexinpackages/core/src/records.ts.Testing:
pnpm check; 53 cold-cache Chromium perf scenarios.
