Opening Settings → MCP, Skills or You with a populated picker makes Slack reject the modal update with
invalid_arguments/unsupported element: multiselect. Render these controls as section accessories while preserving their action IDs, block IDs, options, initial selections and immediate-save handlers.Validation: the deployed compatibility regression fails before the fix; all 91 focused UI tests pass afterward. Static analysis and secret scanning pass. Independent review found no blocking issues. The original native failures are preserved; deployed native rendering and save/repaint retests remain pending after the safe beta restart.
Full regression: 3,795 passed, zero failed, 28 opt-in skips; coverage 94.34% lines / 86.21% branches / 90.08% functions. Dedicated security coverage passed, production audit found zero vulnerabilities, and the signed-off commit passes DCO.
