Problem
python-commonis currently consumed as a source submodule and has no installable package metadata. Itsproject_rootlookup also walks forever when the package is installed undersite-packages.Changes
commonimport package without moving files.Validation
uv buildsite-packagesdirectory.project_rootresolves to the consuming project's directory and excludessite-packages.
