  • Max score is 1000. Note that the real score may have changed since the PR was raised.
  • This PR was automatically created by Snyk using the credentials of a real user.
  • Some vulnerabilities couldn't be fully fixed and so Snyk will still find them when the project is tested again. This may be because the vulnerability existed within more than one direct dependency, but not all of the affected dependencies could be upgraded.

Walkthrough

This pull request addresses a security vulnerability by pinning a transitive dependency to a safe minimum version. The change adds aiohttp>=3.13.3 to the requirements file, ensuring that the application uses a version of aiohttp that is not affected by the security issue identified by Snyk. While aiohttp is not a direct dependency of the application, explicitly pinning it prevents package managers from installing vulnerable versions through the dependency tree. Additionally, the change includes a minor formatting improvement by adding a newline at the end of the file to comply with standard file formatting conventions.

Changes

File(s) Summary
requirements.txt Added aiohttp>=3.13.3 as a pinned transitive dependency to address a Snyk-identified security vulnerability and added a newline at the end of the file for proper formatting.

The comment says this is “pinned by Snyk”, but aiohttp>=3.13.3 isn’t actually pinned and can float to newer (potentially breaking) versions; consider aligning the constraint/comment with the repo’s mostly-== pinning strategy for reproducible installs.
