This Code of Conduct applies to all repositories under the he4rt GitHub organization, unless a repository defines its own CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md. It applies within all project spaces — including issues, pull requests, discussions, commits, and wikis — as well as when an individual is representing the community in public spaces.
Instances of abusive, harassing, or otherwise unacceptable behavior may be reported through the following channels:
- GitHub — open a report via the repository's Security tab or contact the maintainers directly through a private issue
All reports will be reviewed and investigated promptly and confidentially. Maintainers are obligated to respect the privacy of the reporter.
Depending on the nature and severity of the violation, maintainers may take the following actions:
- Warning — a private notice clarifying the violation and expected behavior going forward
- Temporary ban — removal from project spaces for a defined period
- Permanent ban — indefinite removal from all community project spaces
Maintainers who do not follow or enforce this Code of Conduct in good faith may face repercussions as determined by other members of the project's leadership.
This Code of Conduct is adapted from the Contributor Covenant, version 2.1, with modifications to reflect He4rt Developers' mission and values.
