Closes #240

What

  • Takes godmin 0.20.0, whose date helpers live in their own entry, @gopherium/godmin/dates.
  • Adds listDate to @alphone/frontend-sdk/dataviews. It writes a moment the way WordPress lists do, such as Oct 13, 2026 5:04 pm, in the reader's language.
  • The Created column of Users, Contacts and API tokens, the Last used and Expires columns of API tokens, and the Started column of Import use it. Other dates keep the format locale.
  • Vitest inlines godmin, so its date words read the same catalogue as the app.
  • A new bundle check: nothing loaded before first paint carries moment.
  • The configuration and screens guides say list dates follow the reader's language.

Why

Lists showed a bare day, such as 08/07/2026, while WordPress lists show the date and time in the reader's language. The date code brings moment and its time zone data, about 790 KB, so it loads with the lists. First paint stays at 1,180,473 bytes, under the 1240 KiB cap.

Testing Instructions

  1. pnpm --filter @alphone/frontend cover: 100 percent.
  2. make e2e: every spec passes, including the new moment check.
  3. Open Users, API tokens, Contacts and Import in English: the date columns read like Oct 16, 2026 5:30 pm.
  4. Pick Español under Language and reload: they read like 16 Oct 2026 17:30.
  5. Users, Contacts and Import already scroll sideways inside their card at 1280 on main. Fitting those tables is a separate change.

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • New Features
    • Dates in contact, user, access-token, and import lists use readable month-name and time formatting based on the interface language and local time.
    • Token lists show “Never used,” “Never expires,” or “Expired” when applicable.
  • Documentation
    • Updated guidance and examples explain list date formatting and how to render date columns.

📝 Walkthrough

The SDK adds listDate for locale-aware list dates. Contact, user, token, and importer list fields now use it. Tests and documentation reflect the list date format and locale behavior.

Changes: List date formatting

Layer / File(s) Summary
Add the list date formatter
sdk/frontend/*, sdk/frontend/test/listDate*.test.ts, sdk/frontend/package.json, frontend/package.json, frontend/vite.config.ts, test/e2e/tests/bundle.spec.ts, docs/src/content/docs/extending/screens.md, docs/src/content/docs/self-hosting/configuration.md
The SDK exports listDate and tests string and Date inputs, locale changes, and timezone behavior. Both packages update the Godmin dependency. Vitest inlines the dependency, and an end-to-end test checks eager scripts for the Moment marker. Documentation describes the formatter and states that list dates follow the interface language.
Use list dates in frontend fields
frontend/src/contacts/contactFields.tsx, frontend/src/users/userFields.tsx, frontend/src/users/tokenFields.tsx, frontend/src/users/tokenFormat.ts, frontend/src/test/*
Contact and user creation dates and token date fields use listDate. Token last-used and expiry formatting is defined in tokenFields.tsx; the corresponding helpers are removed from tokenFormat.ts. Frontend date expectations are updated.
Use list dates in importer fields
plugins/importer/frontend/importFields.tsx, plugins/importer/frontend/test/imports.test.tsx
The importer Started field uses listDate instead of the local date-and-time formatter. Import-list date expectations are updated.

The list-date changes preserve the intended reader-language and date behavior. The first-paint check could miss Moment in a statically imported chunk, but no such current chunk is established; this is a bounded test gap rather than a demonstrated production failure.

Explanation

Issue #240 requires WordPress-style dates in users, contacts, tokens, and imports lists. The PR exports listDate and applies it to the Users and Contacts Created columns, the token Created, Last used, and Expires columns, and the Import Started column. Token values Never used, Never expires, and Expired remain unchanged. Other date formatting remains unchanged. SDK, screen, locale, timezone, and bundle tests cover the implementation.

Full details: Out of Scope Changes check

Explanation

The changes support issue #240. The godmin upgrade provides the date utility, Vitest inlining supports catalogue-based tests, documentation describes the new list-date behavior, and the bundle check verifies the first-paint constraint. The PR does not change the separately scoped table layout behavior.

🎯 Functional Correctness | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick win

Scan the entry modules’ static imports. eagerScripts() selects assets referenced in index.html. An entry module can statically import another chunk that carries the Moment marker. That chunk loads with the entry module, but this test can still pass. Follow static JavaScript imports recursively, and exclude dynamically imported route chunks from the first-paint set. Summary

The PR adds listDate for WordPress-style dates in Users, Contacts, API tokens, and Import. List dates follow the reader’s language, and a bundle check keeps moment out of scripts loaded before first paint.

The latest change addresses the previous non-blocking coverage finding by adding Europe/Madrid tests for summer and winter offsets, a local midnight crossing, and a Date input. No new actionable issues were found in the changes since the previous review.

  • List date columns show the reader’s local date and time.
  • Import lists show the start time in the reader’s language.

Code Review ✅ Approved

🟡 Medium risk · Switching user, contact, token, and import lists to localized date-times could misstate timestamps if locale or timezone handling is wrong.

Switches list dates on Users, Contacts, API tokens and Import to a WordPress-style abbreviated format (e.g. Oct 13, 2026 5:04 pm) in the reader's language via a new listDate helper, with godmin bumped to 0.20.0 and moment kept out of the first-paint bundle. No issues found.
