The scheduled CI lint job fails
cargo deny checkbecause Cargo.lock contains libz-sys 1.1.21, which is affected by RUSTSEC-2026-0418. Update only that dependency to the patched 1.1.31 release and its registry checksum.Validation:
cargo update -p libz-sys --precise 1.1.31changes no other dependencies; hosted cargo-deny validation passes advisories, bans, licenses, and sources.git diff --checkpasses. The validation-only workflow is on a separate branch and is not included here.
