Use-case and function

You and your agent add and edit research, files, data, charts, and diagrams on the same board in real time. Pin cards and boards to choose the material your agent should use, link conclusions to their sources, and see what the agent has read or changed. Boards save locally so the evidence stays available across sessions.

For example, collect sources for a question and ask your agent to compare the evidence on the board. Have it add a comparison or diagram, then review and refine the result together. Pin the updated material to guide the next step. These are examples, not a required workflow. The plugin does not bundle custom agents or general-purpose skills.

The plugin includes MCP tools and a native canvas panel in the GitHub Copilot app. Other Agent Plugins-compatible clients use the MCP tools and browser workbench. Bun 1.4.4 or newer must be installed and available on the host's PATH.
