Yes, I tested this branch locally on Fedora running GNOME Shell 51. The extension builds and installs successfully, is recognized by GNOME, and runs in the ACTIVE state. I also verified that the schemas are valid and found no Forge-related errors in the journal after enabling it. No GNOME 51-specific code changes were required beyond the compatibility metadata update.

This updates Forge’s GNOME Shell compatibility metadata to support all GNOME 50 and 51 releases by using major versions only. The README has also been updated to reflect the supported range.
