Storing the token somewhere else than in the user's session only makes sense if it's an offline access token that doesn't expire.

As I already mentioned in the comments of your blog I wanted to have the ability to store user's access tokens to somewhere and reload them if needed in order to make offline requests on their behalf.
Therefore I changed your library to inlcude getters and setters for the access token.
If you like, feel free to add this patch to your original project.
