Using installer

You can install the extension with the provided installer SSMSExecutor-2.0.x-alpha.exe for versions after v2.0.2.

Manual install

To manually install the extension, extract the installation file SSMSExecutor-2.0.x-alpha.zip to the appropriate destination folder.

  • SSMS 2014 extension folder

    • C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\120\Tools\Binn\ManagementStudio\Extensions

  • SSMS 2016 extension folder

    • C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\130\Tools\Binn\ManagementStudio\Extensions

  • SSMS 2017 extension folder

    • C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\140\Tools\Binn\ManagementStudio\Extensions

  • SSMS 2019 (18.x) extension folder

    • C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio 18\Extensions
