I'm from the northen part of sweden, aka Norrland. Here i spend time thinking outside in the nature, often in the woods near a small creek. I am very into the Japanese Zen philosphy and the principles of the Japanese minimalism:
- Wabi, 侘び - Simple and natural. Imperfect is also beautiful.
- Ma, 間 - White space.
- Kanso, 簡素 - Remove what is unnecessary.
- Seijaku, 静寂 - Finding peace and clarity in a world of constant motion.
These are some of the priciples i try to live and act by in my life. I also think about it when i'm doing technical things, like developing a website for a client or something for myself. It really helps me to understand myself and what i'm trying to achieve - without rushing ahead, as i think we tend to do in this fast society. It all lies in the eyes of the beholder.
