Summary

  • After databricks apps init completes, detect if coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, etc.) are installed but have no Databricks skills
  • In interactive mode, prompt the user to install skills now; in non-interactive mode, print a hint
  • Best-effort: errors are logged as warnings and don't fail the command

Test plan

  • Unit tests for HasSkillsInstalled (5 cases: no agents, with skills, without skills, empty dir, custom subdir)
  • Manual: run apps init with a coding agent detected but no skills → see prompt
  • Manual: run apps init non-interactively → see hint message
