Hi, I'm Daniil Kostin 👋

Building software professionally since 2007. I take products from architecture to the app stores: backend and APIs, web frontends, cross-platform and native mobile apps, CI/CD, and leading small dev teams.

  • 🧠 In my free time: an AI side project, a symbolic engine based on category theory that extracts patterns from raw sequences. In theory, given enough diverse data, it can learn any language and map it onto one it already understands.
  • ⚡ Fun fact: I've been programming since the 5th grade, I was 10 years old. We built spaceship simulator with warps in Basic with my classmates in our free time.

  • Kiwify: e-learning app for the Brazilian market, with a YouTube-style player, Chromecast/AirPlay casting, background playback, offline downloads and quizzes. Built in Flutter with a lot of native iOS/Android code; CI/CD on Codemagic. Available worldwide in both app stores.
  • Medication & mood tracker: Flutter app for Android/iOS with a GraphQL API, clean architecture with BLoC and custom staggered animations. Live in Australian app stores.
  • Golf club management system: JSON-driven form and data-view builder on Vue.js components that adapts to each club's own processes (staff, chemicals and more).
  • LMS with SCORM course integration, plus a chiropractic booking app with a REST API.
  • MDL blockchain in Go: core chain, REST API, BDD integration tests and performance tests.
  • Family social app for the elderly: groups, media sharing, chat and event scheduling, with an accessibility-first UX.
