What

Widens the based-models-agentloop dependency from >=0.4.0,<0.5.0 to >=0.4.0,<0.6.0 and bumps this package to 0.1.1.

Why

based-models-agentloop 0.5.0 is on PyPI, but the published 0.1.0 pins <0.5.0, so the two cannot be installed together at their latest versions. The metadata of a published release is fixed, so the fix is a new release of this package.

Changes

  • pyproject.toml: dependency range >=0.4.0,<0.6.0; version 0.1.1.
  • src/agentloop_tools/__init__.py: __version__ 0.1.1 (the release workflow requires the tag, pyproject.toml and __version__ to agree).
  • CHANGELOG.md: ## [0.1.1] entry.

Nothing else changed. This package imports only Citation, HostedTool, HostedToolPart, Source and Transcript from agentloop's public API, and none of those changed in 0.5.0 (the 0.5.0 changes are additive: observer hooks, summaries, retry fields on ModelResponse).

Testing

Ran this repo's ruff check, mypy (strict) and pytest at feeec80 in separate venvs with based-models-agentloop[all]==0.4.0 and ==0.5.0 installed from PyPI: both pass (44 tests each). CI resolves the dependency from PyPI, so it will exercise the newest allowed version (0.5.0).

Publishing is a separate step: this PR does not tag or release. After it merges, pushing the v0.1.1 tag publishes to PyPI.

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

Widen the dependency range from >=0.4.0,<0.5.0 to >=0.4.0,<0.6.0. The test
suite, ruff and mypy pass unchanged against both agentloop 0.4.0 and 0.5.0
(this package uses only Citation, HostedTool, HostedToolPart, Source and
Transcript from the public API). Bump the version to 0.1.1 and add the
changelog entry.
