I'm Alexis, an SRE and platform engineer focused on internal platforms that help other engineers ship reliable services. I've owned platform product direction at software companies, had my fingers in the governance and policy pie, and built high-performance teams around that work. I enjoy all the things that allow humans to get technology to production and keep it in production. I like to make things usable, practical, observable, and boring in the best sense of the term.
I care about scaling systems and processes, strong observability, and building tooling that gets out of people's way. I have a weird thing for putting umami into corporate processes. :3
