Compass skills reach Claude Code only through the PowerShell installer, and the hosted MCP bridge exists mainly to get them into chat. Both Claude Code and Codex now install a plugin straight from a repo's
.claude-plugin/marketplace.json, so this adds that manifest pointing at the existingcodex/skills/with no file moves.Checked locally:
claude plugin validate .passes (only an icon warning),claude plugin detailslists all 14 skills at about 1.1k always-on tokens, and Codex 0.163.0 installs it from the same marketplace file and lists the 10 implicit skills ascompass:<name>incodex debug prompt-input. The four skills withallow_implicit_invocation: falsestay hidden as intended.Two differences in Claude Code to decide on before merging:
agents/openai.yamlis Codex-only, so blast-radius, handoff, no-comments and to-tickets become model-invocable there unless they also getdisable-model-invocation: true.
