Purpose
Native CI tracks paimon-rust main. After apache/paimon-rust#1259, automatic compaction can add snapshots, merge file groups and invoke additional commit callbacks. Tests that assume an append-only history now fail.
Use
write-only=truein the rollback, creation-time and shard-balancing fixtures that require exact snapshots or unmerged files. The nullable-key MERGE test captures the source snapshot after writing and verifies that MERGE leaves it unchanged, retaining automatic compaction coverage.Tests
7483471147a7: unmodified Paimon master reproduces all 18 Native CI failures (196 passed).$schemas.update_timefailures remain. Those require fix(schema): list persisted schemas independently of catalog cache paimon-rust#1260; their assertions are unchanged here.git diff --checkpassed.Both native runs cover all five affected test modules, with native planning, reading, writing, updates and commits enabled.
