Install the Vue 3 release:

npm install vue-upload-component@next

Version 3.2.2 is published under npm's next tag. The npm latest tag remains on 2.8.23 for Vue 2. This release requires Vue ^3.5.41.

Validation: production build, lint, type checking, all 42 tests, and npm publish dry run passed. The dependency audit reported zero known vulnerabilities at release time.

Known limitations: some explicit dist variant imports still lack matching TypeScript declaration entries. Nuxt's stricter type settings can report errors when importing the raw component source. The default import FileUpload from 'vue-upload-component' remains the recommended import; the documentation explains these limitations.
