   Thanks for the suggestion! You're asking to evaluate Pierre Highlights as a faster replacement for Shiki in the file and diff viewers of the web and desktop apps. Today those viewers use shiki together with @pierre/diffs. Maintainers will consider it.

   Related highlighting performance work, for context:
