Any AMI build ages very quickly in today's world. This is especially true for PR CI builds, but even for nightlies. Add a `--deprecate-days` option to set EC2's deprecation time. This allows an automatic cleanup job to actually deregister deprecated AMIs. Signed-off-by: Martin Pitt <martin@amutable.com>
Add a repeatable `--tag` that sets more tags than the default `Name` when creating an image. This is useful for categorizing them (architecture, release series, etc.), as well as writing IAM policies that restrict operations to AMIs with particular tags. See individual commits. Necessary for introducing some house-keeping to the ever-growing pile of AMIs that we build. 🧹 🏷️
Tested end-to-end with building our example image, uploading with tag and deprecation date, and checking with
aws describe-snapshotsanddescribe-images.
