I build software factories for established businesses whose software demand is growing faster than their engineering capacity. I'm a fractional CTO and co-owner at Camplight, a digital cooperative delivering products since 2012.
My focus: help your team ship more software and own the capability to keep improving it.

A software factory connects a business request to the people, AI agents, shared context, tools, and checks needed to turn it into a verified software change. The team can see what happened, review the evidence, and decide what ships.
I work with €1M–€10M revenue businesses to make that practical:
- Prove the opportunity. Find a recurring delivery bottleneck, establish the baseline, and work out whether solving it is economically worthwhile.
- Operate the first workflow. Connect it to your existing systems, define acceptance criteria and permissions, and measure delivery time, review effort, cost, and useful output.
- Build capability you own. Keep the code, data, documentation, and operating knowledge accessible to your team. Expand when the evidence supports it.
I bring architecture, engineering leadership, and product experimentation together. Cooperative ownership shapes how I work: shared responsibility, clear decisions, and a team that can carry the work forward.
Public projects from the teams and communities I work with:
| Project | What to explore |
|---|---|
| Nest | A shared workspace for people and AI agents: persistent context, tasks, execution, and human review. Source-available; see its license for commercial use. |
| OSAIkit | Find and run an open model suited to your codebase and hardware. MIT licensed. |
| Claude Mycelium | Agent coordination for codebase improvement, with test validation, rollback, and cost tracking. MIT licensed. |
| Awesome Software Factories | A collection of approaches, tools, and examples for repeatable software delivery with agents. |
- What is an AI software factory? — the operating model and lessons from Camplight's client deployments.
- After the Last Engineer — our podcast about software, agents, and the people accountable for the results. In this episode: can you safely ship code nobody reviewed?
Bring one software-delivery bottleneck. We'll explore its business value, what could be validated, and whether a factory is a useful next step.
