Should log informational messages to stderr instead of stdout

I tried to use avante.nvim in neovim and configured it to use opencode acp as follows:

I end up getting the following warnings:

The integration didn't work at all and I'm not sure if this is the root cause but it'll be good to fix this I think.

this also gives a cosmetic issue: when using opencode TUI the log messages are printed over the ui elements

opencode-lmstudio@1.0.0-rc.1 is ready for testing and includes a logging-path rewrite relevant to this issue.

Plugin status messages now go through OpenCode's structured client.app.log API instead of being written to process stdout. The RC's real OpenCode TUI tests also complete without plugin messages being drawn over the interface.

Could you retest both affected paths with the exact RC?

• opencode acp through the Avante configuration from the report
• the normal OpenCode TUI

Use "plugin": ["opencode-lmstudio@1.0.0-rc.1"], restart OpenCode, and reply with the OpenCode version and result. If there are no JSON-RPC parse warnings and no TUI overlay, please confirm that this issue can be closed. If it still reproduces, include the first offending output line and whether it came from stdout or stderr if your integration exposes that distinction.

opencode-lmstudio@1.0.0-rc.2 is ready for another ACP/TUI retest.

Plugin diagnostics go through OpenCode's structured client.app.log API. The public package passed ACP SDK 0.21.0 initialize/new-session tests against OpenCode 1.17.7 and 1.17.9 while every stdout line remained valid JSON-RPC; five public-package TUI views also passed without plugin text overlaying the interface.

Please pin "plugin": ["opencode-lmstudio@1.0.0-rc.2"], restart OpenCode, and retry both the Avante opencode acp flow and the normal TUI. If the JSON-RPC parse warnings and visual overlay are gone, please confirm this issue can be closed. Otherwise, include the OS, exact OpenCode version, and first offending stdout/stderr line.

One explicit boundary: OpenCode 1.17.9's ACP process itself hangs during the official handshake on the GitHub Windows runner, so Windows ACP is not claimed as passing. Linux/macOS ACP and Windows config/chat are blocking release gates. See #34 for the full matrix.
