Hi!
We maintain the AI Registry (https://ai.open-vsx.org), a vendor-neutral, federated trust registry hosted at the Eclipse Foundation. It already supports MCP servers, Agent Skills, and A2A agents, and we recently added support for Agent Plugins, including plugins distributed via a vendor-published marketplace file (e.g. OpenAI Codex/ChatGPT's .agents/plugins/marketplace.json), which we resolve and index automatically.
agent-plugins.org already has a great precedent for this kind of thing with the Compatible Clients page — a curated list of clients that can load plugins. We'd love to see something similar for the other side: vendor-neutral registries/directories where users can discover and verify trusted plugins (as opposed to clients that consume them).
Would the maintainers be open to a "Registries" (or similarly named) section listing this kind of resource? If so, we'd be happy to open a focused PR against this repo to add it, following whatever format/criteria you'd prefer (similar to lib/compatible-clients.ts, or something new) — just let us know your general take first before we put together a PR.
This request comes from the Eclipse Foundation, and we’re also interested in broader collaboration around Agent Plugins and interoperability. We’d be happy to connect with the maintainers beyond this specific issue if useful.

Thanks for building Agent Plugins as an open standard!
